Wall-Mounted Bathroom Shelf

The Wall-Mounted Bathroom Shelf from Noreya goes up without a drill, which is the whole point if you are renting or working around tile you would rather not put a hole through. Two tiers of powder coated iron mesh take the bottles that otherwise crowd the edge of a bath or the corner of a shower tray. It holds up to five kilograms across the frame.

The mesh is the practical part. Water drains straight through instead of pooling under a bottle, so nothing sits in a ring of damp and the shelf does not become the place where mildew starts. A raised lip runs around the outside to stop a bottle walking off the edge when you knock it. The paint finish resists chipping and wipes clean with a cloth.

Two sizes are available, 26 by 13.5 by 13.5cm and 36 by 14.5 by 14.5cm, in black or white. Full sized shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles stand upright in either. Mount it on a smooth, sealed surface such as tile or glass rather than on paint or wallpaper, which the adhesive will lift, and leave it to cure before loading it. Give the surface a wipe with alcohol first so the adhesive has something clean to grip.
