21.6in 6-Light Metal Chandelier

The 21.6in 6-Light Chandelier from Noreya takes the farmhouse shape and strips the fuss out of it. The frame is metal finished to read as weathered wood, and the six arms are left bare, with no shades, no crystals and no glass, so the bulbs themselves do the decorating. Pick a warm filament bulb and it becomes the feature; pick a plain one and it recedes.

At 21.6 inches across it suits a dining table for four to six, a bedroom, or an entry hall. Five connecting rods give a drop anywhere between 22.4 and 63.8 inches, which covers a standard ceiling and a stairwell alike, and it mounts on sloped ceilings as well as flat ones. The arms arrive pre-assembled, so fitting is mounting and wiring rather than construction.

Six E12 sockets take any standard candelabra bulb up to 40W, LED, CFL or incandescent, and bulbs are not included. It is a hard wired fitting, so have a qualified electrician install it and isolate the circuit before starting. Wipe the frame with a dry cloth; the finish is painted metal and does not want a wet or abrasive clean. Fitted with LED candle bulbs it draws very little and runs cool.
