Noreya is a small online store built around one idea: the objects you live with every day should be worth looking at.
Most of what we sell is lighting. Wall lights, pendants, chandeliers and table lamps — the pieces that decide how a room feels after dark, and the ones most people end up buying in a hurry from whatever the big retailers happen to be pushing that week. We would rather carry a smaller number of things chosen carefully: warm light over cold, matte over shiny, a shape that still looks considered when it is switched off.
Around the lighting sits everything else a room needs. Faux olive trees for the corners where nothing real will grow. Wall clocks that read as objects rather than appliances. Doormats, rugs and storage that do their job without shouting about it. If something does not fit the room we are trying to build, we do not list it.
How we work
We are online only. There is no shop to visit and no phone line — instead there is an inbox that a real person reads, usually the same person who chose the products. Delivery is free to the United States and Canada on every order.
We are honest about what we are: a curated store, not a factory. We find good pieces, photograph and describe them properly, and get them to you without the markup a showroom would add. What we control is the selection and the service, and we take both seriously.
If something is wrong
Email support@noreya.co and tell us. If a piece arrives damaged, or simply is not right in the room, we will sort it out — you have 30 days, and when the fault is ours we cover everything. Full details are on our returns page.
Behind the store
Noreya is run from Canada, by one person rather than a team. It started the way most of these things start — I was trying to furnish my own place, found the lighting either cheap and forgettable or beautiful and absurdly expensive, and got tired of scrolling past the same five chandeliers on every big-box site.
So the store is really the shortlist I wish had existed. Modern home decor and lighting, chosen one piece at a time, with a bias toward warm light, honest materials and shapes that look deliberate. The aim is not a showroom look. It is a room that feels warm and personal when you walk into it at the end of the day.
Because it is one person, you are emailing me directly when you email support. I read everything, I choose everything, and if a product turns out not to be good enough it comes off the site.
