6ft Olive Tree with Moss Potted Base

The 6ft Olive Tree from Noreya finishes at the part most faux trees ignore: the soil. The pot is topped with moss over the potting surface, so there is no disc of green plastic giving the game away at the base. Above it, the trunk carries the mottled bark pattern of a real olive and the canopy is dense enough to read properly from across a room.

Foliage is PE, which is waterproof, odourless and easy to clean, and a spray and a wipe once a month keeps it looking new. The branches are built around stainless steel, so they bend to whatever shape you want without snapping or drooping back, and the leaves are fixed rather than loosely glued, which is usually where cheaper faux trees start shedding.

Assembly is two steps: seat the trunk in the base, then open out the branches. The base is weighted and stays upright at tilt angles up to about eight degrees, so it tolerates being brushed past in a hallway or a busy office. Keep it out of prolonged direct sun.
